The Complete Guide to Vendie for Event Organizers

Welcome to Vendie. This guide walks you through everything the platform offers for event organizers, from your first login to your first payout.

Getting Started

1. Create Your Account


Sign up at Vendie and complete your profile. Add your name, photo, city, and bio. This information appears on your event pages and helps build trust with vendors and attendees.

2. Switch to Organizer Role


Use the role switcher in the sidebar to select "Organizer." This unlocks your organizer dashboard with all the tools you need.

3. Create Your First Event


Click "Create Event" and fill in:
  • Event name and description — Make it compelling

  • Date, time, and location — Be specific

  • Cover image — High-quality visuals attract more attendees

  • Ticket tiers — Set up pricing for different access levels

  • Vendor applications — Enable if you want vendors at your event
  • 4. Submit for Review


    All events go through a brief review process (24-48 hours) to ensure quality. You will be notified when approved.

  • Getting Paid

    Revenue Split


    Vendie uses an 80/20 split — you keep 80% of every transaction.

    Escrow Protection


    All payments are held in escrow until after the event, protecting both you and your buyers.

    Requesting Payouts


  • Go to the Payouts page

  • Add your payout method (bank, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or check)

  • Request a withdrawal when your balance is available

  • Payouts process in 3-5 business days
  • Tax Requirements


    If your payouts exceed $600 in a calendar year, you will need to submit W-9 tax information. Complete this from the Tax Info page in your sidebar.
